In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears (Psalms 18:6).
The songwriter said, ''How many times must I prove how much I love you? How many times must my love for you I will show? How many times must I rescue you from trouble for you to know just how much I love you? As human beings, we sometimes tend to forget, that the God who delivers us from the storm is able to deliver us from the earthquake, and the tsunami. When David was asked the question by Saul saying, '' Are you able to go up to fight with this Philistine since he is a man of war from his youth and you are just a youth?'' David answered and said, ''When the bears and the lion came up to attack the sheep, I went after it and struck it and delivered the lamb from its mouth, and when it rose against me I caught it by its beard and struck and killed it. '' Here we see that David had complete confidence in God. He had experienced the power and manifestation of the Lord in the fields with the bears and the lions and knew without a shadow of a doubt that God would come through for him. Moreover, he said, '' The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will deliver me from this uncircumcised Philistine.'' Then Saul who was the king of Israel answered Him and said, '' Go and the Lord be with you'' (1 Samuel 31-37). Today I believe that God is calling some of us to have complete confidence and complete trust in His abilities to deliver us from the circumstances that we face. One of God's superpowers is His ability to deliver His people from the clutches of the enemy. Today I just want to give God all the praise and the glory for His mercy endures forever. Psalms 136: 1 states, ''Oh gives thanks to the Lord, for He is good ! For His mercy endures forever.'' Have a blessed day!
