What is one thing that you hope you could become but you are not quite there yet?
Let's face it, life can be very challenging-especially if you are a goal-oriented or career-focused individual. In the pursuit of success, you might find that you come up against huge roadblocks or detours along the way.
If you are like me, you may have asked yourself a million times: why do I have to go through this? or why me? The enemy of our soul will always try to set up limitations and blockage to hinder us from going to the next level. The enemy will try to tell you what he believes you can or cannot achieve. Some of these limitations come in the form of fear, setbacks, and pitfalls. Like the naysayers will make you believe that your dreams aren't possible. They didn't achieve this or that so why should you. But the question is, How long are we going to allow the naysayers to determine our outcomes? Someone once said, ''At some point, you are going to have to make the choice between the life you've grown accustomed to and the life you want to live.'' Hence, there is a call for you to lift up your head above your circumstances. This means that you cannot allow your circumstances to directly affect your outcome.
Psalms 3: 3 states, ''But you O Lord are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts my head.'' So yes we have trouble on every side, yes the battle is intensifying, and yes the mountains seemed insurmountable. But will you give up? Will you quit, or allow the enemy to triumph? I beg to differ, but hold true to the fact that God is our refuge and fortress a very present help in the time of trouble. So today, my prayer is that we will continue steadfast in the Lord and the power of His might despite the iron balls that the enemy throws at us. Have a blessed day!
