The Day of the Lord

In the midst of the chaos; the back-to-school, restrictions on movements in some parts of the world, earthquakes in divers places, unpredictable weather patterns, many dying from Covid, and the Delta-Variant etcetera, it is so easy to get lost in this giant moss of confusion. Not to mention our spiritual resolve that is being tested on a daily basis. Put it this way, if your relationship with God was 10/10, you may want to multiply this by 10 or even 100. Now more than ever the faith of the child of God is being tested. Whether you are on the frontline or you are on the back end, the faith of every Christian believer is being tried in this time. Hebrews12: 26-27, ''Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.'' This reveals that God is doing a great shaking of the world systems, and a shaking of the nations; a shaking of not just the earth, but a shaking of the heavens. Hence, those things that cannot be shaken will remain. Therefore, when all else has failed, our hope in God must remain unshaken. Jesus reminds us in John 14: 2-3, ''In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.'' I firmly believe that God will not go back on His word, but will fulfill that which He has spoken. Therefore, let us all continue in the faith, admonishing one another, encouraging one another, and praying for one another. Have a blessed day!
